MyBlog

Myblog is a dynamic blogging application that has been intergrated into our core web system, which allows registered users to post their own blogs.

Each blog you post will be published on the website automatically, for all our viewers to see.

To use Myblog, you have to sign in into the secure intranet section on our website, using your username and passwoard.

Once logged in you will now be able to access our User Menu on the right hand side. Please scroll up and down until you find this menu.

1. From the User Menu select My BlogDashboard.
2. Click on “ write new entry” (To write your blog)
3. Place your cursor at the top right corner of the writing pad, where it says “Blog title (Click to Edit).”
4. Type your Blog’s heading or title
5. Then move your cursor to the text pad area and of you go Blogging
6. Add tags to your article. It helps the viewers to easily locate your Blog
7. Make sure to select a Category where you want your Blog to appear. (default is Myblog)

How to add images to your blog

1. Click on “ Images & Documents” located on the menu to your right, just below the heading “ Tags” .
2. Click on “ Upload” to search for images on your computer desktop.
3. Select your image. Click on the upload button. In a few seconds you should get a message saying that your image was uploaded successfully.
4. Click ok
5. Now your image is uploaded onto our server

Note: We recommend that you resize your images prior to uploading them on the server. Preferably to maximum width of 250 pixels and a maximum height of 300 pixels (or less). This allows the web pages to download a lot faster.

How to insert the image to your article

Note: It is best practice to finish entering your text first, before adding images.

1. Place your cursor on the area where you’d like to add the image.
2. Click on the image you want and it will be placed exactly where your cursor was located.

Twitter Board

If you want to link the posts you add on our twitterboard to your own twitter account, you will need to have an existing twitter account before you add a post. If you don’t have one please click here to register

Our twitterboard access button is located on the left side of the website. It is dynamically fixed on the website so you can access it from anywhere on the website.

1. Click on the tweets button
2. Once the Ajax board is loaded, you can read the most current tweets and also reply to any posts
3. To add tweets that will link back to your own twitter account. Click on the Sign in with twitter button, located on the right top corner.

4. Enter your twitter acount username.
